HIGH-PERFORMANCE RADIANT-BARRIER INSULATION SYSTEM

For roll-up and garage doors

How it works

The silver, metalized radiant barrier reflects incoming radiant heat, stopping it before it passes through the door. Custom-made panels, made of strong, durable, lightweight material, also create a controlled air gap that resists conductive and convective heat transfer – keeping heat out in the summer and preventing warmth from escaping in the winter.

Reflective radiant barrier:

rejects up to 97% of radiant energy.

Built-in air gap:

reduces conduction and limits convection across the door.

Big box insulation kits don’t hold up in real-world conditions. Doorsulate was built differently. After years of hands-on testing—adhesives, magnets, clips, and countless failed methods—Doorsulate was engineered to perform. The result is lightweight, durable, custom insulation panels made from high-grade radiant barrier material, paired with our patent-pending EZ-Grip Mounting System for a clean, secure, long-lasting install. Handcrafted. High Performance. Made in the USA. Unlike mass-produced kits, every Doorsulate system is built with premium materials to withstand extreme conditions and daily use—because insulation should work long after installation.

Proudly Made in the USA

What you can expect

In real-world use, roll-up and garage doors fitted with Doorsulate commonly show 30–40°F lower interior-side temperatures compared to uninsulated doors, helping stabilize workspace and garage temperatures while protecting equipment and stored items – year-round.

In this video, our customer chose the over-hinge DoorSulate with our strongest mounting option, the Ultra Mount. For the cleanest possible look, we installed each panel by trimming it to fit under the hinges. This method takes a bit more planning and precise cutting, but the end result is a nearly fully covered door with a much more seamless finish compared to cutting around the hinges.

Solar Company Gets DoorSulate

Doorsulate Installation at Lunex Power’s Tampa Headquarters

Doorsulate recently visited Lunex Power’s Tampa facility to help their mechanical shop address a common issue: Florida heat pouring into the workspace through a large roll-up door.

The project began with the installation of our EZ Grip Ultra mounting system, selected for its strength, durability, and long-term performance.

We returned two days later to install the Doorsulate insulation panels, creating an effective radiant barrier designed to reduce heat transfer and improve day-to-day comfort inside the shop.

Lunex Power is known for delivering high-quality solar solutions, and their decision to use Doorsulate in their own facility speaks to the value of the system: clean installation, dependable performance, and immediate improvement in environmental control.

The result is a cooler, more comfortable workspace with the added benefit of long-term energy savings.
