Doorsulate began in a modest workshop with one simple goal: To turn a sweltering workspace into a cool, energy-efficient environment. Jeremy Shapiro faced the same challenge many shop owners do: a large metal roll-up door that turned his workspace into a hot-box. He tried every insulation kit on the market, with disappointing results. The products were flimsy, cheap, and simply didn’t perform. He set out to create something better.

Through years of hands-on research and development, Jeremy tested it all: Adhesives, magnets, and every possible method of securing the panels you could possibly imagine. Relentlessly pursuing a design that would actually work. After countless prototypes, trial and error, and one humbling experience after another, he finally perfected a premium product that performed to expectation.
